The only term for the markup page which is generally used is Text Formatting Rules across wikis (as shown on List of Wiki Markup), so we would suggest as a GoodPractice to have wiki markup explanation on this page on each wiki or to at have a redirect from that page to the page explaining markup. A redirect would also be preferable if the wiki is not in English.
