Hard Space

There are many instances where a space is removed by default which a user may want for formatting purposes. There is therefore a clear need for a creole representation of the $nbsp; HTML character.

The logical and therefore obvious sequence to use is ~ that is tilda followed by a space as tilda has the effect of saying "Treat the next special character as a normal character.
